     | The beautiful city of Thessaloniki,
the second largest city in Greece, was founded in 315 BC by Cassader who named
it after his wife, Alexander the Great's half-sister. Administrative center of
the north, Thessaloniki is also one of the prettiest cities in Greece. The Arch
of Galerius, the church of Agia Sofia, and the White Tower, the archeological
Museum, are only some of the magnificent landmarks to be seen. |
